BetMGM launched in Ontario on 4 April 2022, the day the regulated market opened, and is now licensed in Alberta too. It’s the big-brand option: a polished app, exclusive slots you won’t find elsewhere and a loyalty program linked to MGM resorts.

Our take
- Best for: players who mostly play on their phone and want exclusive games, progressive jackpots and a loyalty scheme.
- Think twice if: fast payouts matter most. Withdrawals take from 2 hours to 5 days depending on the method, and the first one waits for ID checks.
Check BetMGM is licensed before you sign up. 19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Alberta, and you must be in the province to play.
Games
More than 2,000 slots plus table games, video poker and live dealer tables. BetMGM has in-house exclusives such as Melon Madness Deluxe and Mirage Mega Magma, an NHL-themed roulette, and a range of progressive jackpot slots. Classics like Starburst and Book of Dead are usually in the lobby.
Payments and withdrawals
- Methods: debit and credit cards, PayPal, Skrill, prepaid cards and online banking
- First withdrawal: 2–5 business days while ID is verified
- Later withdrawals: from about 2 hours (e-wallets) up to 5 days, depending on the method
Mobile app
This is BetMGM’s strongest area. The iPhone casino app is rated 4.6 out of 5 from more than 40,000 ratings on the Canadian App Store, the most of any casino we list. An Android app is available from Google Play.
Support, rewards and safety
